Family-owned Filipino restaurant in SE Calgary

Sagana Foods started as a manufacturer of authentic Filipino meat products made from 100% Canadian meat — hotdogs, sweet tocino, longganisa, tapa and kikiam supplied to Asian grocery stores and restaurants. Our shop in Douglas Square puts those same products on the plate in all-day silog breakfasts, alongside sizzling pork sisig, Lomi Batangas, halo-halo and BubbleUp bubble tea. We’re a short trip from Douglasdale, Douglas Glen, Quarry Park and Riverbend.

I love the Filipino food here it's honestly some of the best in the city! If I had my own Michelin list, this place would definitely be on it. Ate and kuya are so humble and kind, which makes the experience even better. I always order the overload lomi because the toppings are generous and so delicious. Honestly, not just the lomi. I've also tried the sisig with fried rice and egg, and I'd say it's the best. For dessert, the halo-halo and ice scramble are my top two picks so, so good! Everything is very affordable too. Definitely check it out you won't regret it!

Sagana Foods in Calgary is a great place for Filipino food. Their sweet tocino, longganisa, and hotdogs taste just like the ones back home. Everything is fresh and full of flavor. They also serve tasty bubble tea - my favorite is the brown sugar matcha. The halo-halo is really good too. The staff are super friendly and make you feel welcome every time. It's a small, local shop with a warm vibe. If you're craving Filipino food or want to try something new, Sagana Foods is definitely worth a visit!

Sagana Foods - manufacturer of quality deli (hotdogs and traditional Filipino marinated meats) offer Silogs all-day. Silog is short for Filipino term that means garlic fried rice plus egg (sinangag-itlog). We ordered the bangus (marinated crispy milkfish), tapa (garlicky beef), pork tocino (sweet pork). The sizzling pork sisig was perfect in taste and texture during our visit. True picker-upper! Ate Loi helped us with the smile althroughout. Washrooms were clean and had a Koala! The fresh mango shake was also made dairy-free for us. We will come back!
